We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Stock & Inventory Officer to manage and oversee the day-to-day inventory operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control, stock audits, and warehouse management. The candidate must also be capable of assisting or leading internal stock audits and reporting discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and storage locations.
- Monitor stock levels
- Conduct periodic and surprise stock audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Reconcile physical stock with system records regularly and report discrepancies.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff for stock receiving, storage, and dispatch.
- Ensure stock is stored in an organized and secure manner.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management.
- Collaborate with the procurement and accounts departments to streamline inventory processes.
- Implement and improve inventory control systems and processes.
- Act as Audit Officer during internal audits and support external auditors when needed.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in inventory or stock management.
- Strong knowledge of inventory software/systems (e.g., ERP, POS, Excel).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in retail, warehousing, or manufacturing environments.
- Experience in conducting or assisting with internal audits.
